Product Overview: MARS SCDF APIs

The MARS SCDF (Stare and Compare Document Forensics) APIs provide a programmatic interface (typically Swagger-based RESTful APIs) for utilizing Helix's document analysis and identification capabilities.

Key Capabilities:

• Document Fingerprinting: Implements document forensics techniques to uniquely identify documents.
• Automated Document Type Identification: Automatically determines the encoding (e.g., AFP, EBCDIC, DJDE) and classifies the business document type (e.g., invoice, purchase order, statement, policy) for documents within repositories or data feeds, regardless of the source system or application. Utilizes machine learning (ML) for classification.
• Integration: Allows these identification and classification capabilities to be integrated into broader content management, migration, or compliance workflows.
