Product Overview: Helix MARS Migration Server

The Helix MARS Migration Server is the core engine responsible for managing and executing the data and content migration process within the MARS platform. It orchestrates the movement of data between source and target systems according to defined workflows.

Key Capabilities:

  • Workflow Management: Handles the end-to-end migration process, often following ETL principles (Extract, Transform, Load/Ingest).
  • Connectivity: Manages connections to single or multiple source repositories and single or multiple target repositories.
  • Data Integrity: Incorporates processes for ensuring chain of custody and reconciliation throughout the migration.
  • Security: Supports end-to-end encryption for data both in motion and at rest, if required by the project.
